Obvara is a very special technique from Eastern Europe. Work is taken from the kiln while its red hot, plunged into a mixture of yeast, flour, water and milk, then immediately rinsed in water. The process is incredibly fast and results in beautiful, mottled patterns of black and brown.

This piece condenses water pretty rapidly. If you fill it with water, please put it on a small dish to catch any errant drips.

This bottle is about 6” tall and 4.5” wide.
